Clinical Psychological Testing for Adults
As a clinical psychologist, I conduct psychological assessments that bring to light what’s really going on with your mental health. I help you understand how cognitive, emotional, social, and experiential information fits together. My assessments are grounded in the latest research and evidence, ensuring reliable, trustworthy insights that point the way to effective treatment. The result? Comprehensive results that empower you and your treatment team with a clear diagnosis and actionable insights for moving forward.
Types of clinical assessments that I offer:
ADHD testing: Many patients find their way to me through a referral for ADHD testing. This type of assessment helps answer questions about focus, concentration, follow-through, and daily functioning. We will work together to understand what is getting in your way.
Personality exploration: Many patients come to me to better understand their patterns of relating to themselves, others, and the world. Understanding how we feel and why we feel that way is important to making lasting personal change. We will use different types of assessment instruments to bring out these patterns and explore new ways of being.
Complex differential diagnosis: This type of assessment is used when patients have been assigned different psychiatric diagnoses and have not achieved their treatment goals. We take a comprehensive look at all the related factors, consider how they fit together, and reveal the most important next steps.
Cognitive, IQ, and giftedness: Understanding your thinking, memory, problem-solving, and other cognitive domains can be important for effective treatment. We are here to help you learn about your cognitive abilities and needs.
Worker’s comp/disability: I have years of experience performing exams related to disability claims. Some of these relate to veterans and/or the possible presence of PTSD. Please contact me to discuss your specific circumstances.

Why this experience matters
A strong assessment considers all possible contributing factors, not just a single issue. By drawing on extensive clinical expertise, I help uncover nuanced insights into complex mental health concerns, giving you the clarity needed to make informed decisions about your treatment.
Before we begin, we will discuss your needs, questions, and the assessment process, including costs. All testing starts with a 2.5-hour screening appointment. For some clients, this initial session provides the answers they are looking for. Others may need a comprehensive assessment. We will explore your options together to ensure you get the insights you need. By the end, you will have a clear understanding of your symptoms and actionable next steps.
